Living while not being able to dream,
God forbid you hope,
Life is too cruel for that,
There's just no hope.
Experience has a hold on you,
Cannot afford to be vulnerable,
Never admit you like him,
Don't let yourself dream.
Just be strong,
Control your every thought,
Accept your reality,
You are n o t h i n g.
Dear crazy toxic spiral thinking,
You don't hold my future in your hands.
God is in control.
He gives meaning to my existence.
He'll show me to see myself through His eyes.
He loves me in ways I don't but want to understand.
I accept His grace.
I cherish His love.
He moves my life.
Period.
